Membership

Any person above 18 years of age with Marathi as mother tongue and related to Trade industry or business (apart from service) can become a member of this Society as follows :

Lifetime Member – Persons paying Entry fee Rs. 5/- and paying Rs.1500/- in one Financial year.
Host Member – Persons paying Rs.5000/- or more at one time.
Honorable Member – To honor members having worked with the Society continuously for several years or to honor any person not from the Society but who has given special help to the Society, the Society with the permission of the General Meeting may grant Honorable Membership of the Society to such person.
Society Member – A Society doing social work and to whom the Constitution and Regulations of the Association are acceptable and fulfilling all or some of the objects of the Association.

The Association will not be responsible for the internal arrangement, financial condition etc. of such Member Society.
No contribution will be accepted from such Member Society.
In the General Meeting of the Association the Society’s Chairman or any representative will represent the Society. However, they will not have voting rights.
If any Member Society acts in contravention to the purpose or interest of the Association, then the Association’s Managing Committee will have the right to inform the Society as well as to seek explanation and to provide time for rectifying the mistake. If the Society does not act accordingly, the Managing Committee can give the notice of termination of the Society’s membership in the General Meeting. General Meeting will have the right to take Final decision.

Any person or Society desirous of becoming member of the Mandal should fill and send the prescribed Entry form according to the rules along with the necessary fees to the Managing Committee.
The final authority to accept the application, stay the application or refuse will be with the Managing Committee. The Managing Committee will not be bound to assign any reasons therefore.
The membership of the person will come into force after the Managing Committee has approved the Membership Application.
The tenure of the membership will come to an end only at the end of the Authorized Year although the membership has been registered in any month.
If the fees / contribution for two years are pending, the notice of the same will be given to the members for which, one month time limit will be given for depositing the same. If the pending fees are not paid within the given time limit, Managing Committee will have the authority to terminate the membership of such member.
The Managing Committee can give a notice for termination of membership of any member for reasons other than the one stated in b) above, at the General Meeting. The General Meeting will give the final decision after giving an opportunity to such member to plead.
